Eyes on the Globe is focused on bringing you, our readers, stories from around the globe with an focus on unique travel, cultural and heritage experiences. The team at Eyes on the Globe have a particular love for the great outdoors and are much more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it.
We, at Eyes on the Globe, are prolific photographers aiming to capture the moment. It is truly the only way, beside video, to immortalise the moment and embed it in history. For example we have lost the Buddhas of Bamiyan in Afghanistan, much of the ancient city of Palmyra in Syria and Christchurch Cathedral in New Zealand just in the last 15 years to a mix of man made and natural disasters.
While some of these will be rebuilt or restored we will have lost another link to our heritage. These are just a few examples of what we have lost let alone the flora and fauna in which we have seen disappear in the last century.
Please note that photos published on the Eyes on the Globe website and in our stories are attributed to their owners, in most cases this is Eyes on the Globe. If you would like to use any images please get in contact with us.
